Introduction:
The Copper Pot opened in August 2010, headed up by experienced manager Phil Heaps who joined Marstons from the Punch Pub Company. Both Phil and the staff take great pride in offering patrons a great, friendly atmosphere and exceptional service. The site boasts a wide range of facilities, including a beer garden and kids zone, not to mention their fantastic food! The Copper Pot quickly grew to be a very busy operation as a result of the dedicated team and their commitment to attention to detail; this left the staff facing a problem…The Problem:
The Copper Pot's ever increasing popularity as a destination to eat out saw a great increase in the amount of cutlery that was being used during food service. The staff struggled to keep up with the demand for polished cutlery, it was at this point that Phil drew on previous experience from his time with the Punch Pub Company and came up with a solution…The Solution:
A Spoonshine Cutlery Polisher to do the hard work for them! The Copper Pot team made the decision to trial a polisher, free of charge, to see if this would provide some relief from the time consuming and inconvenient task of polishing cutlery by hand…The Results:
The trial was a complete success and The Copper Pot team found that having a Spoonshine Cutlery Polisher onsite vastly sped up the process of polishing cutlery both during and after food service. The team were free to attend to the many other tasks that they had on their hands and of course, had more time to tend to their customers.
